Very new property, opening less than a year ago, with nice finishes in great shape. Pool and deck were much welcomed in the heat of early Spanish summer! Bathroom (floor by back of toilet and mirrors) could have been cleaned a bit better. We walked to most of the tourist (including Roman) sites from the hotel easily. Parking on street was easy enough and seemed safe, rather than paying to put the car underground. Convenient local cafe just across the road. Would travel to Mérida, and stay here, again!

This is a hotel but feels more like a hostel. Also, as they “advertise” somewhere, there are NO elevators, so be fit. The AC for our room, and another, was “being fixed” but the repair guy left and, needless to say we spent a horrible night with hot air. Other than that, great location; mind you that taxis won’t be to drop you off right in front of the hotel, since it is a pedestrian only street.

It was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. They could not check us in on time but they did let us leave our luggage there while cleaning which was a relief. The towels were stiff and the betting was cheap. When you showered it flooded. Centrally located otherwise

The private room with private restroom was literally the size of a Cracker Jack box, the smallest room I’ve ever been in. It was claustrophobic, the room was extremely small and the restroom was so tiny that to get in and out of the shower you had to jump over the toilet which was sandwiched between the sink, the shower and the two walls. You could barely sit on the toilet and your knees rubbed against the wall

The worst hotel ever !

The building is so old. While sleeping we can hear other people steps on the stairs. The front disk staff is unfriendly, can’t speak English , not supportive & rude . All workers are unable to speak other languages. The furniture at the room is old and damaged, no proper AC. The bathroom is very small , we were not able to take proper shower! I don’t record that a good reputable company like Hotels.com dealing with them.

Way too basic for the price

I was not impressed. The place smelled bad, it took a full day of keeping the window open to let the fresh air in. The room was SO tiny and of course the photos make it look nicer. The street was noisy all night long. It is on a stretch of pedestrian street so there is no access to taxis, I had to walk a few blocks to get to a corner where I could be picked up to go to the airport. I was cold at night and there wasn't any extra blanket and of course no staff. It is a walk up! with suitcases!! while they mention it in their website it was not that obvious at the time of reservation. The only good thing were the clean cotton sheets.
