Hotel Campnile is a decent hotel.
At first impression, it disappoints. The building itself could use some TLC. A lick of paint and some attention to the flowers would do the trick to make a better first impression. As per my visit, the outside was an eyesore - I believe there was a broken window, giving the hotel a dilapidated look to it.
Nevertheless, it seems like a popular hotel, as there were various groups and couples staying there during our time. The room we stayed in was clean (and cleaned everyday of our stay). Our room was a tad small, but this was no major inconvenience to us.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and accommodating of our inability to speak french.
The hotel is approx. 10 minutes walk from the RER, and buses frequent the area. The area itself is charming, safe and quite. During our stay it was warm, so we managed to walk around the neighbourhood which addd greatly to our stay there. There are few places to eat in the immediate vicinity of the hotel (besides the hotel, that is), which was a negative factor for us as we wanted some variety. While this is not the hotel's fault, it is something to consider if you wish to stay here.
