Hotel with its glory days long gone, also very large portion of elderly living at the hotel... nothing bad with that, just worth noticing. maybe they should market themselves as a +50y alternative...
drinks not great, with all inclusive you get one option for beer, one for red wine, one for white wine (all the cheapest alternatives you can buy..) but with a larger selection of cocktails like gin and tonic. The tree stars the hotel holds is definitely not for its good food. I would say food was the weakest point. Breakfast was good, however. With a better concept for lunch and dinner, and some more/other (still cheap) alternatives for wine and beer, the score would be 4/5 for the price paid. With current lunch and dinner options it’s more like 2/5. I would recommend a different selection and having different concepts/stations available for lunch and dinner, like Asian, classic Spanish, African, Italian, meal of the day etc. now it’s just a mess, and nothing is really deliciuos.
