A visit at Chateau de Berne had been on our Bucketlist for a long time, and now we had the chance to book a two-night stay this september. It was sure worth the wait ..!
What a magnificent Hotel - not only the Chateau itself, but also the peaceful surroundings, the wide and welcoming vineyards and the historical legacy that tastefully opens up the moment you arrive at this place!
We were warmhearted welcomed by the staff upon arrival, professional and helpful with our bags and carparking. A glass of the Chateu’s own produced firstclass Wines were offered and a personal minitour of the different spots of the Chateau, the poolside, the gardens, the restaurants, the winecellars and of course their first class SPA was given us from the concierge.
A visit at Chateau de Berne is not just an ordinary ”Stay” in our opinion and yes, it costs a little bit more than average hotels, but if you have the money ... it is worth every penny!
The restaurant Le Jardin de Benjamin is awarded with one star from the Guide de Michelin and the breakfast is also served there, and we were able to sit on the terrace in the morning having the whole valley, the green Provencehills and the complete stillness around us. The SPA was also a suprtreat! The guided tour in the vinyeards was professionally presented and tasteful.
We Highly recommend a visit at Chateau de Berne and make sure you dont forget to taste their fantastic wines!
