This was my first time staying at Staybridge Hotel in Allentown, PA. I was there for a two-week extensive training and mostly out during my stay. However, I found the place and the room to be very functional and it had the right mix of furniture needed for my needs and the right amount of equipment such as cooking utensils, iron, and dryer. The laundry was free and that was great because we needed it. The front desk staff was excellent. They attended to all my requests, kept track of my packages and made sure I received them for which I am very thankful to them.
Here are the following that the property can improve upon:
1. Housekeeping - they can make sure the garbage is taken out daily.
2. Cleanliness: the carpet on the property has a dirty feel to it. Also, the couches can have a better feel and I was reluctant to sit on them. overall it did not have a clean feeling.
3. Breakfast: I asked my brother to come to stay for the last night I was there and he got his room including the breakfast. When we went for breakfast in the morning there was hardly anything for the vegetarians. The breakfast staff simply said that they did not expect the amount of people that stayed over the weekend so they ran out of most items including eggs, yogurt, and milk.
