Upon check-in we were “greeted” with an employee who was very unfriendly. She immediately began trying to talk me into attending an 8:30 AM meeting, and offered me “free” tickets to a show. When I politely declined, she then offered me cash. I continued to decline as I wanted to enjoy family time and not be stuck in a presentation trying to scam me. After my third and final declination, she huffed at me. Shoving my room keys at me. I’ve never been treated so poorly by anyone in Branson. Nothing like the friendly warm service we receive from other area hotels. Nobody told us breakfast times, pool times or locations. Later on my daughter and I couldn’t find the pool so we asked the front desk . That lady was also very unfriendly , stating “downstairs” and that was it.
Our room was outdated and the mattress was very lumpy. The parking was a nightmare and my husband didn’t like how anyone could just walk in any of the entrances. No keys needed even coming in through back doors. Felt unsafe. We did meet one kind employee during our time, she was the staff in the restaurant. She was very sweet and helpful .
