The hotel itself is a bit worn down. The refurbished rooms are fine, but make sure to get one facing the square/street. The view from the patio-facing rooms are directly into other rooms or into a wall. The pool area is fine, a bit overcrowded sometimes but overall ok. Breakfast is ok with good variety. The air-con was not efficient so rooms are warm. Staff is nice and helpful, or at least the more junior staff. Senior staff at front desk tend to be a bit arrogant. We had some confusion at check-in and was given a very small room even though a family room was booked. After some discussion the junior staff solved the situation, but senior staff was very eager to mention it was out of courtesy we were given a room we actually could fit in and similar to what we had booked and paid for.
