My wife and I loved our stay here! We came for a wedding, and every part of the stay from check in to check out was incredible. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the resort itself was beautiful, and views were stunning. Lots of dining options and variety (including the best fish tacos I’ve had). Cannot say enough good things about the place.

A very nice resort
The resort was wonderful. The food was fantastic and the bars were well stocked. We would absolutely go and stay there again. The reason that I gave the resort 4 stars is because the wording of the room description is deceiving. We stayed in a Preferred Club Ocean View room. - the description says that you will get a free spa treatment per person - you will not get this. We asked a few times and the best info we ever received was that you could potentially get a 10 minute chair massage then they stopped talking about that and it never happened. - the part that says you will receive $200 credit to use at the resort - absolutely not. You will receive "$200" worth of discounts. The discounts were on spa, special meals, and potentially wine. I even brought this issue up to the staff and it was completely dismissed because they know that it's misleading. Again, overall the resort was great. I just wanted to clear that up for anyone.

“Ocean front” is a stretch. Patios face in towards to courtyard so you have to lean out to see it. Room was like an INFERNO. we literally slept 2 hours because it would not cool past 25c or 77f. Sounded like drums playing all morning due to some type of construction. Room service picks up in the middle of the night and clangs the dishes around which echos straight into your room. Got a massage which was great except it was $300 and the fire alarm went off at the end. Also is not “all inclusive”, I asked for a Sapporo and it was $15.

Very poor hospitality at the Dreams Jade Resort. My room took over two past checkin time. Once I finally arrived to my room, my tub was dirty. Curtains were falling apart out of the balcony, no bathrobes/slippers/room amenities as listed this is included, my welcome gift was 3 apple instead of the complimentary bottle of wine I was promised. Staff was not helpful when asking questions. Buffet areas were constantly overcrowded and no availability to be seated, was asked to wait 30 min for a table for 1. Won’t be going back.

The hotel is good, food could be better, and after 11pm they won’t let you be anywhere that’s not in your room or one bar/disco. Restaurants will rush you to finish your dinner before 11pm and there are no bars open near the beach after it. They also won’t let you be near the beach during the night. Some servers were great and others would avoid you or you will have to ask them multiple times for what you asked. Room is beautiful, a bit worn out.

To begin the checkout process was OK. But now I know why I was told the hotel was only half booked. Our room was not clean. The sheets were dirty with blood stains on it. They do not have washcloths. The food selection in the buffet is very limited housekeeping does not come daily and when you call them, they are not happy with you.

The resort was excellent. Food options are kinda limited due to restaurants closure on specific days but overall restaurant experience was great. Cafeteria was ok (most of the time no fish, but you can find other options easily). Good quality of alcohol, variety of flavors that was amazing.

I want to love this resort as I was looking forward to exploring the other resorts within the Dreams brand. The resort had too many mosquitoes and I was bitten constantly everyday. It's been 6 days since I returned home and I am STILL itching. I love Cancun because of the hospitality of the people. Most of the employees of the resort made me feel welcomed. Most of the employees greeted us with "Buenos dias, Hola, etc" everyday and every where... EXCEPT our waiters at Tamarindo and Mercure. I always say "thank you" and always spoke nicely to the staff, but it was these two restaurants where the staff seemed... grumpy and seemed like they didn't want to be there. Even though the resort was an all-inclusive resort, we ALWAYS still tipped our servers as much as $20US; especially to our Teppanyaki cook. Even when tipped, they didn't smile and only "nodded" as if saying, "ok". Food overall was fair to good quality in terms of taste and presentation. Cin Cin was terrible and was the worst of all the restaurants. I love dessert and I couldn't stomach the "chocolate mousse" cake on our first night. It was rubbery and tasted like cheap garbage boxed cake. Juan from the Carnival buffet was awesome with his great service and smiles. He even remembered my husband's name from the first day. Catalina and Carmen where pleasant from the Spa. Hotel check in staff was super efficient and pleasant. The nightly entertainment was adequate and appreciated. Rid the mosquitoes!

Staff is very friendly! We enjoyed our stay. We would appreciate if the smoking area coming out of the preferred side was maybe outside of the property more. Everything was clean, the food was for the most part really good. The main pool was fun! We were on the preferred side so we ventured over sometimes for some of the fun.
