We've been here before and love this little hidden gem in the middle of Kings Cross. This time I was disappointed. The rooms was not entirely tidy, I found a hairpin on the bedside table and some small leftovers in the bathroom. Also, the breakfast had very varied quality of food one day to another. It was marvelous one day, and bland the next. The most disappointing part, I had a booking issue which I asked for help with. My own fault, but I hoped to be able to get redeemed. They referred me to Hotels.com for redemption, and I spent time on calling, mailing and chatting to Hotels.com just to be informed it was in fact the hotel itself that should have taken the decision of redemption.
I was so disappointed that Megaro just didn't say that they didn't want to redeem me, instead made me spend time and money chasing Hotels.com on my last day of stay there. I have also emailed them about this, with no reply.
