I had some problems using their internet, but since I was there for only one night I don't know if it was a problem with the hotel's wifi or with the Spanish internet.
I had a room that had windows to the inner "garden" or what do you call it, most Spanish buildings are built with inner air areas, and it was noisy, but on the other hand, Spain is noisy and you cannot expect silence when living in a city or populated area, it is part of the Spanish culture so I cannot blame the hotel for this, I feel.
However, I slept without problems, the bed was okay, the room was very clean and the bathroom was okay and very clean so I will give the hotel a high rating, because it was among the cheapest hotels in all Madrid of those hostals where you sleep alone in your room and you have a private bathroom.
I appreciated the fact that I was given a room key, but also a key to the hotel doors so I could go in and out whenever I wanted without bothering the hotel owner.
The hotel is situated in the center of Madrid, very close to the metro station, and you can walk from the Atocha Railway station to the hotel if you want to save some money. Many good restaurants with Spanish tapas close to the hotel.
It takes about 45 minutes to the airport using the metro.
