OK!! Well, Firstly, this Hotel is well situated, just a short stroll to the Arc de Triumphe and not far to the Eiffel Tower too, so can't fault it there!!
The Hotel itself is in need of an up-grade, the decor is a bit tired, worn carpets etc. I have two major moans! First, The Shower!! This has to be the smallest shower in the world? They are almost impossible to get in and close the door? Now I'm not a 'Big' person, but anyone who is, Forget it!!! Dissappointing that Mercure think this is good enough. Second moan, we had been travelling all day, arrived at about 7.30pm and wanted to chill for a bit before heading out for the evening. What a good idea it would be to sit in the lovely courtyard they show off so well and have a drink? Well to discover that the Hotel only served soft drinks, didn't fill me with delight!! No extra business done by this guest that's for sure. Will be going to Paris again for sure, but won't be staying here!! P.S. Breakfast cost is also far too high, cheaper elsewhere!
