We have stayed at ‘the Mal’ in Manchester a couple of Ines because it’s a great location and the rooms are spot great.
This time we were pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade and the check n was very warm and welcoming.
The room was amazing as always.
Alas, this time and for the first time, we were let down twice by the food service. Room service forgot some of the order, sides and at breakfast the next day, the eggs Benedict seemed like it had been in the side for a period of time, hard eggs and ‘chewy’ muffins.
We will still return, we think it’s a one off but, give two incidents in one stay, it did leave an element if ‘that’s a shame’ feeling.
