Our stay at The Fox & Goose Hotel was excellent! The rooms were nice, the staff had put me and my kids in adjacent rooms, as per my wish. There was a slightly damp smell from the bathrooms, but it was not a big enough problem to complain about. The room had free tea, coffee, chocolate and bottled water.
The breakfast was very good. One got to choose a warm item from the menu (e.g. English breakfast, eggs Benedict or smashed avocado on toast). There was also the choice of complementing with milk/yoghurt and cereals or granola, fresh fruits and two different kinds of croissants. Everyone was full after every breakfast, and this was a great help for going through the day, as a visit in London always takes you for long walks and many different experiences.
The commute from the hotel was also very good. A five minute walk took us to the tube station Hanger Lane, on the Central line, and there was a bus station right outside the hotel. We used this when we were going to the Harry Potter studio tour at the Warner Bros studios. That took us easily to Wembley central station. From there we took the train to Watford junction, where the studio bus picked us up for the last leg of journey.
The staff was very nice and the pub, where breakfast was served, had a nice atmosphere and tasty food when we had dinner there one evening. A positive note is also that, as a guest of the hotel, one get 10% off the prices of the menu.
We would love to come back again!
