3 out of 6 nights wasted.
We stayed at the colonial resort for 6 nights in total which also meant using the resorts dinner restaurants 6 times. Every other visit was a small disaster and a lack of customer service that really did surprise me.
On the first night in the brasilian restaurant we did get our drinks 30 min after we arrived and after telling the staff 3 times. 90 minutes in to the dinner our daughter had still not received her food. Instead she had to eat from our plates. Once she well got the food we were on or way out.
Second visit we once again had big problems getting our drinks. And once we got them they had mixed it up and on top of that the beer was served in warm glasses.
Last night at the hotel once again one of the family members did not receive the main course.
After speaking to the staff 3 times they promised to get back to me the following day which did not happen. The promise was made by the Room Division Assist Manager. Apparently he did not do his jobb or, which I think is more likely, this is just their way of handling customer complaints. Sticking their heads in the sand.
There are many other good hotels out there so if you are planning a trip to Mexico I suggest you avoid this hotel. At least if you customer service is an important thing for you.
