It was a bit of a trek from Hammersmith tube station. But once there, I was greeted by the woman receptionist and she sorted me out very quickly. I was given a room on the third floor in the building next door. We shared a joke I made about the fact that there was no lift. It gave me a warm and friendly impression of the hotel.
The room was very, very small, but it was clean. For me, travelling to London all the time, having stayed at many different hotels, cleanliness is an extremely important factor.
The downside of the room was that it gave out on to the street, a very busy street at that. There was traffic all night and I couldn't really sleep properly. For those who are not disturbed by the sound of traffic, it will be a nice place to stay at, as it wasn't very expensive.
I only stayed one night and had to leave early, which meant I never got to try the breakfast which was included.
