The location was a sweet, calm little street just off some heavy traffic roads which didn't affect the area at all. The absolutely dead quiet nights were particularly surprising and appreciated (this from someone who lives on the countryside). The hotel itself is in need of some minor repairs - a hole in the tiled bathroom wall, a broken robe hanger on the door, but over-all in okay condition. The cleanliness was good (no dust to be seen, clean linens), apart from one unfortunate "that's not my toe nail clipping"-moment on the bathroom floor... The bed was rock solid; not something I enjoyed (I was in the very bottom room, B1, in case you want to avoid that, while my friend in the very top room at least had springs in hers). The breakfast was alright; it gave you something to eat in the morning, no more, no less. Coffee/tea, juice, toast, sandwich toppings, boiled egg. Personally, I don't require anything more elaborate. The staff was helpful and accommodating, no issues at all. I'm more or less reliant on wifi and it was a bit disappointing when I had no connection while relaxing in bed, but had to go stand by the door. One night, it didn't work at all. But yeah, it's a totally adequate, cost-friendly place to stay in case you have shorter business in city center. Well within walking distance of Shepherd's Bush Empire/tube station, Westfields, High Street Kensington, etc. I stayed for two nights and I'm sure I'll come back for my next London weekend.
