Would stay again but with expectations managed
Decent housing for a decent price, expect nothing more.
We needed a room to sleep and store bags in during the days when we were out and about in London and it served that purpose.
The room was decent by UK standards I would say but if you started to scrutinise it you probably would be disappointed.
Stain on the wall could be seen in certain light (probably old liquid someone spilled and never cleaned up) and the second day I found one or two strands of hair in the freshly made bed that wasn't ours.
I have paid more for Air B&B:s in London that where worse off than this so I can't complain though.
Turned on the "Do not disturb" sign when we left for the day and came back and the room was made up anyway both days. No worries but worth a notice.
Had a breakfast menu in the room with prices and everything but when we went down to the pub the first morning there wasn't anyone there except a cleaning lady that didn't give us any attention so we went out and ate at Morrisons around the corner instead.
Same thing second day.
Third day when we checked out I asked about breakfeast and was refered to a place around the corner instead.
Had an issue with the safety deposit box (previous code wasn't removed) that was sorted within 30 minutes of pointing it out so that was positive.
Thursday night/evening they apparently slayed cats in the pub (or if they called it Karaoke night perhaps?) which was slightly noisy even though we had a room in the other end of the hotel.
