Lovely small hotel very close to Kensington Olympia. I booked a standard double for me and my friend and I didn’t realise that these rooms only had 140 beds. But reception helped us to upgrade for a small fee to a larger room with a larger bed, for a small extra fee, so that was great!
The bed was really comfortable to sleep in and they have two types of pillows which was very appreciated.
Nice bathroom and shower, only downside is that the shower curtain is too short so the floor is quite wet after a shower. The mirror with extra light is malfunction and it was the same in the first room, and I also spoke to another guest that mentioned the same problem. The on and off button doesn’t work, but then if you all of a sudden touch next to the button, it lights up! Really strange, as I also mentioned to the receptionist. Then there is a mirror in the mirror for makeup, but this part is very foggy, so if I had this hotel, I would return all the mirrors to the manufacturer and put other ones with better lighting. Apart from that the room was perfect!
Spacious and comfortable.
The train station is 5 minutes walk from the hotel which is great. We were in London to see the ABBA voyage concert, which I highly recommend to everyone! Such a great experience!! This is a must to visit when in London. The Olympia Fair is also only 5 minutes walk away, which is a big plus.
Staff were really helpful and friendly, and I can really recommend a stay in this hotel.
